Tired of going to a crowded place like Boracay.... Well why don't you try a place that will give you the "real vacation" that you truly need. The peace and tranquility that will relax your busy minds and enjoy the true nature of Batanes.
Fundacion Pacita is a resort that was once the home studio of internationally acclaimed artist Pacita Abad. It was refurbished by her brother Butch who envisioned the nature lodge to provide peaceful accommodations amid a lush garden.
Every room was designed to resemble a gallery, with the walls adorned by masterpieces of both well-known and up-and-coming artists.
Accommodations feature the works of Ivatan artists who won the annual Batanes Art Competition. Each room is furnished with air-conditioning, mini-bar, and spacious bathroom with hot and cold water. Most rooms are equipped with Wi-Fi access, a rare luxury in Batanes.
What is the best here is the view. The resort is located on top of the cliff with a 270-degree view of the sea, mountains and the sky. There's even a suite where you can view the awesome sunrise. It is called the Upper Sunrise Suite (Terrace Suite #3).
I brought up this article not only for you to visit and experience this wonderful place but this is also an opportunity for you to enlightened your mind..... your entrepreneurial mind.
You don't have to have a nice land like Fundacion Pacita. All you need is a nice idea and make your place/land a place to visit. You don't have to have a white sand beach.
Even black sand beaches will do.... as long as your place is serene enough. It's not really the beach that their after but its the relaxation and time away from the busy streets of the city.
My uncle has a beach house in Batangas. The place is not a beauty. It's very far from the vicinity of the beauty of Fundacion Pacita. But there is house to stay, a nipa hut to relax to feel the wind from the ocean, and a beach for you to swim.
My uncle's resort also gets reservation especially in the week-end where the Manila-uenos take a 2 hour trip from the city to unwind.
Anyway going back to Fundacion Pacita, if you want to encounter a beautiful place like this you could take flight to Batanes via Seair. Price starts at P6,750/person subject to 12% VAT (Monday to Wednesday promo).
